Jurors' Choice Award Winner Winter on East Lake by Kato Wake Oil on Mylar, 24" x 24", framed
Juror Comment: The strength of this work is the artists’ choice of medium to suit the subject: adding to the expression of softness and luminosity that a snowy winter day provides. The division of planes in the composition lead the eye rhythmically from the foreground field, to trees, to lake, to trees, and finally sky.
This award is sponsored by Arts on Main Gallery.
