We’re celebrating the 23rd anniversary of Art in the County. This annual juried exhibition and sale showcases the artists of Prince Edward County. Once again, our event will take place in the Gallery upstairs at Books & Company, 289 Main Street, in Picton, Ontario, from Friday, June 24th to Sunday, July 10th. 2016.

The show is open daily from 10 AM to 6 PM (until 5 PM on Sundays, and until 3 PM on July 10th). Admission is $3 for adults. Children age 12 and under are FREE.

Three Canadian art professionals select all of the items in the exhibition. Their mandate includes nominations for receipt of the five Jurors’ Choice Awards and the five Honorable Mention Awards. The exhibition unveils over 100 pieces, and award winners are announced on opening night.

In addition, organizers are delighted that renowned Canadian artist and sculptor, Otto Donald Rogers (Milford, ON), will select a winner for the Otto Rogers Award of Excellence from the juried works in the show. The People’s Choice Award is determined by visitors’ ballots and is presented at the close of the exhibition.

Come and see for yourself why Art in the County is considered the premier juried art exhibition in Eastern Ontario, and why Travel & Leisure Magazine named Prince Edward County as one of the Top 10 “Standout Destinations” in the world to travel to in 2015.
